HERMANTOWN, MN – Following the completion of an extensive remodeling project at their Hermantown branch, Superior Choice Credit Union plans to hold a grand reopening celebration in early April.
Festivities include a Hermantown All Night Grad Party fundraiser, ribbon cutting and cook out, a checking account special, a cash giveaway, and more.
The grand reopening celebrations mark the completion of a months-long remodeling project which ultimately made the branch more member-friendly. Changes were made to better serve current and prospective Superior Choice Credit Union members by replacing the Interactive Remote Teller (IRT) line with a face-to-face teller line. This enhances interaction between members and tellers, ultimately forming better relationships.
In addition, lighting, utility, tilework, cabinetry, and other aesthetic changes were made to further enhance the look and feel of the Hermantown branch. Locally-based subcontractor Ray Riihilouma, Inc. performed construction work for this project in two phrases. The project began in mid-January and ended in early March.
Ribbon Cutting Celebration
A ribbon cutting ceremony and cook out will be held at noon on Friday, April 8 with the Hermantown and Duluth Chambers of Commerce. SCCU will also have refreshments, special offers, and more throughout the rest of the day.
Hermantown High School All Night Grad Party Fundraiser
For every new checking account that is opened at the Hermantown branch on Thursday, April 7 and Friday, April 8 SCCU will donate $10 toward the Hermantown High School All Night Grad Party. The goal is to donate $500 toward the All Night Grad Party.
