Security Within Online Banking
First Log-in On the New System
The first time you log into your accounts in the new online banking system, you’ll need to enter your account number and temporary password. Your temporary password is the last four digits of the primary account holder’s social security number. Once you are logged in, you will be prompted to change that password to a permanent password in order to finish logging in the first time (your new password must be 6 characters long). A pop-up will appear alerting you to the new online banking/bill pay disclosures, please take a look at them and hit accept.
After you log in, you’ll be asked to provide answers to three Security Questions that you get to choose. If you forget your password later, you’ll just need to answer these questions and online banking will help you set up a different password and get logged in. To add an extra layer of security to your account, you may be prompted to answer one of your Security Questions after logging in with your account number and password.
We also have this printable brochure for your convenience, "Conducting Your Transactions Online" which gives some great, easy tips to protected your security while online.
